In this training, we will focus on the basics of personal financial planning. We will clarify what financial planning is, explore the different types of financial professionals who may be engaged, and name the aspects of personal finance that’s most important to focus on.
This workshop is designed for:
This training is best suited for therapists who are not confident in their financial management skills and/or who find personal finances to be off-putting or overwhelming. Many people know they need to do something, but are unsure where to start.
The training is appropriate for folks at any age or stage or business but will focus primarily on those still saving rather than retirees. Individuals with proficiency in financial planning and investing may find this training too elementary.
What we'll cover:
What to seek (and avoid) when engaging a financial professional.
How to begin saving on your own if you are not ready to hire an advisor.
What basic first steps should you take, beyond just savings and investing, to safeguard your financial future?
